A Return to the Northern Tribes!

During the Adventures In Truth travels in February, we mentioned an amazing journey into the northern areas of Ethiopia to visit a Jewish tribe, bringing them water filtration units, much needed food, and the Word of God. You never know how what you do affects them after you leave.  Although the sharing of the Word is in its early stages, in May we got to see first-hand how the water systems are working.

With horrible water conditions, the 88 plus water filter systems that we spread throughout the region have helped them with incredible results.  The people have rigged pieces of sheet metal in the form of a gutter to catch the water during the rainy season, and divert it into barrels.  They then scoop the water from the barrels, and each family loads it into their water jug with the filter attached.  They said they're feeling better, and they're stomachs have felt brand new.   Keep the team in prayer for our continued returns and work with the north, as we prepare the Jews for the days to come with the hope of Jesus.

Preaching the Word in Tigray Capital!

In our recent travels into Ethiopia, the AIT team took part in a conference to share God's Word with the people in the city of Mekele, Ethiopia.  Under the invitation of a pastor in the city, Dr. Jim preached the Word, and the result was miraculous.  The alter was filled, people were saved through Christ, people were healed, and the result was a mind-blowing experience for everyone.  The children even put on a wonderful program for the team in English.  God be with you all and we look forward to a return there soon.

Reaching Out to Bring the Word of God in Masses

As fund raising continues for the Gospel Training Center for the Ethiopian Jews, the excitement begins to build right along with it.  The purpose of this plan is to teach the Word of God, the opportunity for Salvation, and educate on the Bible to the Ethiopian Jewish tribes before they begin to make the returns to Israel. Dr. Jim Rankin said, "By seeing how much people care enough to support this project, proves to us that God's hand is the driving force behind it all!"  This secured training facility is the only way to teach them and send them back to teach their own people with confidence and purpose.  Even though we are currently reaching the Jews in the villages, we can only travel to one village at a time.  The facility will help train their own people and they will begin to reach the masses in greater numbers than ever before.  We are currently at 48% of the goal, but we have to be ready with full amount when the time is right.  Help us reach that $350,000 project goal. If you would like to be a part of this effort, please contact us immediately, and help us bring revival to Israel through the Ethiopian Jews or donate directly by clicking one of the donate buttons on this website.

15 Years of AIT!!!

It's amazing that it's been nearly 15 years since Adventures In Truth began an unprecedented journey where honestly no man has gone and accomplished so much before!

This August into September will be our 15th Anniversary, and we have never been so thrilled or honored to do and serve God like we have.  Whether the world takes notice or not, we want to thank YOU for your love, support, giving, and prayers throughout all these years.  We now see a clear vision of what God has sent us to do, and we're thankful you're right there along with us.

Keep an eye for some anniversary happenings, and big events to be announced very soon!

The Solar Bible...Changing the World!

Many people have asked, "What is a solar Bible?"  The answer:  A Miracle!

Then the question, "Why can't you take them a regular Bible?"  The answer is:  "If they can't read then they simply rip out the pages and stuff a hole in their hut!"

In the beginning, 15 years ago, we began to bring in regular paper Bibles, and John & Romans Scriptures in their native language in Ethiopia.  Quickly we saw them toss them to the side because we realized far in the mountain villages many of them cannot read.  So, AIT began to research, and what we found was a full and complete miracle.

These solar Bibles we began taking in contain the complete Old & New Testaments, along with 2 to 4 year discipleship course for them to continue learning even after we've left the village.  We now carry them in the two languages for the two areas that we work and share the Gospel in, plus we give them listening assignments, both in the Scriptures and a follow up discipleship training.  What's even more amazing, that when our teams return a couple of months later, they not only have read it, they can quote what they've heard.   They gather secretly in their huts in groups and listen to the Word of God over and over again.  It's truly amazing, and a wonderful miracle!  That's what your support can make happen!!!

Taking the Word Into the Prison

During a recent expedition into Ethiopia, the AIT team was taken into the prison in the city of Mekele, the capital of the Tigray region in the north.   Here they were shown the horrible affects of war, even in a prison.

Before the war over the last four years, this prison contained nearly 3,000 inmates, both male and female, and also a full and large library, including a Christian section which was used during church and discipleship opportunities.   It housed areas to help them come away better with woodworking equipment, metal work equipment, and much more.  During the war, soldiers rampaged the prison, freeing the prisoners to join their forces, destroying the workshops, and even burning the libraries.

During AIT's visit, we found that with just over 1200 inmates now there, their betterment facilities are minimal, and their library now has only 30 or 40 books, and nearly no Christian access, except for the teaching of one particular man who is now working with our team.   AIT will be returning to the women's section (the women even have to have the children go with them there), and will be providing them with a care pack along with biblical training materials.  The men will receive John & Romans Scriptures and also the discussion of solar Bibles will be offered.  Then, we hope to begin to restock their library with faith based materials to help make them a better person for the world around them when they're released.   God is amazing, as we reach one soul at a time with Jesus.

The Reality of War

War is never good, but sometimes it's not those who participate that are left hurting, it's those that are left behind.  The AIT team seen this firsthand during a recent trip into the far north of Ethiopia.   While gathering a group of widows together who have lost their loved ones in the recent wars, the team learned of the horrible circumstances on how their husbands or sons were killed in front of them, then left in the streets until allowed to remove the remains.  Watching the tears flow, hearing the testimonies, and seeing the stress upon them in order of trying to survive is truly heart wrenching.  AIT ministered by the Word of God, by providing food, and by simply letting them pour out their hearts.   Sometimes it's better to listen first and then decide the next steps to help bring the truth of Jesus into their lives.

Gearing Up For The Fall Presentation Tour!

It's coming quickly, the Fall AIT Tour will be here before you know it and plans are being finalized for an incredible 2nd half of 2025.  The tour will kick off in Indiana this year in September and will travel to Kansas, Tennessee, Illinois, Oklahoma, back to Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and other locations to be announced soon.  Depending on the location, Dr. Rankin will feature one of his many action-packed biblical expeditions, along with updates on the work being done with the Jewish communities in Ethiopia.

Also, there will be an all-new presentation debuted during this Fall Tour, entitled, 'The Frankincense King', and hints of a forthcoming presentation called, "The Word IS God".  Plus, AIT will return to the National Quartet Convention at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with our beautiful "Adventure Hut" display with artifacts, merchandise, and mini presentations.

Reaching the Street Boys of Ethiopia

It was an incredible experience as the AIT team gathered a group of lost, starving boys off the streets in one of the cities the works in, to feed them and share the Word of God to them.  The boys were brought to a secured compound, similar to the one we are hoping to have for training, and first prepared a much-needed hot meal to them, followed by three Gospel messages to bring them to Christ through the Living Word of God.   It was incredible to see their faces as they were given double portions of food and water to help with their hunger.  Then, following the great meal, Pastors Tim Hall from Georgia, Rex Schrolucke from Ohio, and Dr. Jim Rankin from AIT brought God's Word to them, with the final result with most of them finding true Salvation through Jesus Christ.  We truly believe that some of these young men will eventually become great leaders of the true Faith in our training in the years to come. Â
